ENGRAVING GUIDE/HOW TO ORDER:
If you select engraving with your order, please following these tips so we can help make sure your order is made just how you want it.
You can either send us your own logo and/or artwork, or you can send us the text you would like us to add for you. You can select a font number from our text choices for each line on your item/s or instead you can simply pick one of our pre-made designs from the combinations (A, B, C, D, E).
HOW TO SEND US YOUR LOGO/ARTWORK:
You can complete your order and attached/send files and instructions or you can email everything to studio@impressionslaserstudio.co.uk (please be clear what images you would like on your item pieces please).
ARTWORK/ LOGO REQUIREMENTS:
If you would like us to use your artwork/logo, please take a moment to carefully check our requirements
We accept most formats of artwork, including the following popular types, PNG, EPS, JPEG, PDF
Minimum Image Size [Not including outside border/whitespace]: 1000px x 1000px (350mm x 350mm)
We recommend you send us the highest resolution and size image to ensure we are creating from the best possible source, this will determine the best outcome and quality of engraving on your item!
Ideally we prefer black only with a transparent background, this can reduce the time we spend preparing your artwork/order and means you get it faster :)
All images/logo's/files should be sent in BLACK & WHITE if possible as a laser will only recognise BLACK and will not read anything in white, colour or greyscale!
HOW TO ADD YOUR OWN TEXT:
If you wish to send us text, please send clear instructions on the text you would like us to add for each line number, you can also tell us if you want any size variation, i.e 2nd line date slightly smaller etc.
To make it easy we have included below a template, so you can copy/paste and edit as you need:
BOX/LID:
Line 1: "Maria & Warren" (Font Style #3)
Line 2: "19th October 2019" (Font Style #2) Smaller text size please
USB:

If you prefer to send us your logo/artwork, please make sure you send the best quality image, this improves the engraving quality, ideally a minimum size of 1000 x 1000 pixels or 350 x 350mm.
Please only send BLACK and WHITE artwork as this is required for processing, we can in most cases convert but this reduces delay and helps us speed up your order.

QUALITY ASSURANCE/WARRENTY
We invest a significant time testing USBs by running specialist software, this significantly reduces issues and means our customers are much happier and in the rare case if a fault occurs, we put things right quickly.
All our USBs come with 3 Months Warranty, giving you plenty of time to let us know if you have any issues so we can rectify quickly.

Flash memory vendors are using decimal arithmetic: 1MB = 1000KB, 1G = 1000MB calculated,
and the operating system using binary arithmetic:

So there are some differences between display capacity and nominal capacity of flash memory products.
2G is about 1.82G ;
4G is about 3.6G;
8G is about 7.2G ;
16G is about 14.4G ;
32G is about 28.8G;
64G is about 56.8G;
DATA WARNING:
In rare cases, errors may be experienced once the maximum capacity has been reached.
We suggest formatting the unit in FAT32 format if problems occur.
We recommend that you back up all data, as we cannot be held responsible for any loss of data.
The usb devices are upgraded cards, which means that the storage per card will vary per card.
As with other devices, once the maximum capacity has been reached, errors may occur.
The above is not uncommon for unbranded devices and by buying the device,
you agree that you have read and understood the above.
